NYC-1 - 2nd part - Compute vCenter Maintenance and Upgrade
Scheduled Maintenance Report for HorizonIQ
Postmortem

Notes: Current Windows vCenter 6.0 DB connection (using external SQL-01) failed due to the db connection account (vcenter-sql). The password needs to be reset or move the vcenter db connection to use the shdba2. I will open an emergency maintenance on 9/17 to update the vcenter db account and vcenter upgrade if there’s time.

Upgrade not completed....Worked w/ VMware support to troubleshoot the export vcdb issue. I've upload the bundle log and they will examine the issue. The vcenter 6.0 windows VM are still in production. I will wait for VMware support response and will check if there's a resolution.

I've tried to search for the vcenter-sql (account details) for the vcdb. It seems when this vcenter windows VM was built and connected to sql-01-nyc (external db), this is the account that has been used for DSN. I'm unable to locate the password for this account so I can do a connection test from vcenter 6.0 windows VM to sql-01.
