Dear INAP Managed Storage Client,
INAP Cloud will be performing the 2nd maintenance of (2) on a Storage Array Network you currently have services connected to in the New Jersey Datacenter. This maintenance is expected to have minimal impact on Storage connectivity. The worked being performed will cause (2x) separate momentary pauses in I/O to the array as the network paths failover. This will be perceived as a temporary increase in Disk latency and/or iSCSI connection timeout. The maintenance has also been scheduled at a specific time window in which Storage usage has been shown to be at it’s historical lowest.

(Managed DPC & VPC Services)
Cloud Support has recently verified all iSCSI best-practice configurations are in place for your hosts to properly handle this routine event without service impact. Cloud Support will be closely monitoring your environment during the maintenance to promptly respond in the unlikely event of a service interruption.

(Non-Managed Cloud Services)
We encourage clients managing their own iSCSI initiators (ESXi, Windows, Linux, Openstack) to take some time and ensure all iSCSI connections contain redundant paths prior to the maintenance. We recommend using the configurations in the Configuration Guide provided at the time of your initial Storage Provisioning. A copy of this guide can be provided at request by emailing ms-support@inap.com
