Monitoring
A primary fiber optic path has been re-spliced and all backbone connections have been restored. All Cloud services should now be operating normally at this time. Engineering teams continue to monitor to validate stability as redundant paths are also restored.

Update
DNS resolution problems from the Chicago data center have been addressed and resolved. We are still continuing to experience network isolation between sites and working with our fiber carrier to resolve this as quickly as possible. No ETA is available as of yet.

We've currently identified an outage to network connectivity between data centers listed below. In addition, servers in the Chicago data center may be experiencing problems reaching INAP resolvers for DNS name resolution. We're working diligently with the team to attempt restoration of services as swiftly as possible.

This incident affected: Virtual Cloud Platforms (Chicago - Disaster Recovery Service, Chicago - Cloud Connect Backup Service, Phoenix - Disaster Recovery Service, Phoenix - Cloud Connect Backup Service) and Bare Metal and Dedicated Cloud Services (Chicago, Phoenix).
